Valuable research is being lost.
Students must complete substantial research, yet there is no dedicated place for the wider people practice community to learn from it.
Why this initiative exists
CIPD Level 7 students invest sustained effort in research that can advance people practice. This independent showcase gives that work a place to be discovered, understood and used.
The initiative at a glance
Students must complete substantial research, yet there is no dedicated place for the wider people practice community to learn from it.
A place for practitioner profiles, anonymised research overviews, articles, fact sheets, blogs and practical recommendations.
Individual CIPD Level 7 learners contribute. People practitioners learn. Organisations encourage participation and support knowledge exchange.
Research can reach people beyond one classroom, study centre, organisation or country while respecting confidentiality and ownership.
Completed research is presented in useful professional formats, with the researcher retaining control over what may be shared.

The person behind the purpose
Dr Christopher McCreanor has worked as a people practitioner and, more recently, alongside students working hard and relentlessly toward their professional qualifications. He has seen the quality of the inquiry they undertake and the practical learning that can disappear once an assignment has been graded.
As a strong believer in the Each One Teach One concept, his teaching philosophy is grounded in making learning and knowledge sharing accessible to everybody. This initiative extends that philosophy into the people practice community, helping individual research contributions become part of a wider culture of professional learning and excellence.
This project exists to create an opportunity: for practitioners to share what they have learned, and for others to benefit from it.
Ownership and independence
The showcase has no purpose beyond giving people practitioners an opportunity to share their research and the knowledge gained through it. It creates an environment where individual work may contribute to the continuing development of people practice through research connected to one of the profession’s most sought-after development qualifications.
This is a privately funded and privately owned initiative led by Dr Christopher McCreanor. It is not affiliated with, associated with, connected to, commissioned by, sponsored by or endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

An open invitation
We invite individual CIPD Level 7 students and graduates to showcase their research and learning. We invite study centres, educators and organisations to encourage participation, recognise practitioner inquiry and help evidence reach the people who can use it.
Organisations interested in participating in or supporting this privately owned initiative may contact its developer, Dr Christopher McCreanor.
